  2010 Critter Invitational Golf Outing  

Success "Rains" on Critter Invitational Attendance: nearly 150 Funds raised: Over $60,000 The Friends' 2010 theme is "Yes, we can!" And, the 2010 Critter Invitational proved that we can, indeed, overcome practically any obstacle---including a flood. The three inches of downpour on Saturday and Sunday resulted in the closing of Dearborn Hills, our second golfing venue and our dinner destination. Rather than cancel the outing, the management teams at Dearborn Hills and TPC Michigan, led by Lee Morris (DH) and Lee Woodruff (TPC), along with Xceed Business Solutions came to our rescue. Both Lee's, as well as TPC's Nate Matejek & Danielle Daniot, artfully rearranged the event and masterfully managed to accommodate all of our golfer and attendee needs. According to longtime Critter supporter Norma Wallis, "if no one knew about the behind-the-scenes changes, it looked like a seamless event!"

And, of course, our Critter Hero of the Heart is Dan Miller, sports director for Fox, who celebrated year 6 as the event's honorary chair and emcee. Mascot Jessica Biel, along with the Friends, thanks all of Critter's volunteers, donors and supporters. You help keep us on par!
