Paw Prints    

Paw Prints are our official communications and appear in six (6) variations:

     1.  Paw Prints Newsletter is our publication that gets mailed to
          our entire database of supporters.  If you are not currently receiving this in
          your mail, please complete our information registration.  Read our latest issue...

2.  Paw Prints News is our bimonthly single page communication.  Our volunteers post it "all over town" to help increase our adoptions and support.  You too can help by do this -- your work, favorite business place, or just send it to friends and family.   See our latest version ...

3.  Paw Prints Enews is our email communication.  It is sent once or twice a month to those supporters who have generously given us their email IDs.  If you are not currently receiving this and would like to, please join our e-Friends Family and we'll include you on the next issue.  We would be grateful is you would also forward this to your family and friends.   Read the latest issue ...

4.  Paw Prints Fox 2 is our monthly appearance on Fox 2 Detroit, WJBK, News at noon.  Our Public Relations Director, Sandy Boulton, appears with an adoptable pet and shares the latest news -- upcoming events, featured merchandise, pet care tips, etc.  You can watch Sandy on the second Monday of every month.  She will be on air anywhere between 11:15am and noon.

5. Paw Prints TV is our joint venture with CDTV, the Dearborn Cable Station (Channel 12 on Comcast).  This is a half-hour show featuring our Public Relations Director, Sandy Boulton.  Sandy appears with adoptable pets and guest speakers.  She shares the latest news -- upcoming events, featured merchandise, pet care tips, etc.  CheckGuest speakers cover a range of topics -  how to select the right pet, caring for geriatric pets, recognizing disease, etc.  Got a topic you are interested in seeing discussed - email Sandy your suggestion  (please include your name and contact information so she can contact you with any questions).   Here is the link to the latest program, Chihuahua Insider Update. 

In Dearborn Heights, the Dearborn Animal Shelter is currently being featured on WDHT-TV local access channel 12.  Siham Jafaar interviews Shelter representatives about current conditions, adoptable pets and more.    

6.  Paw Prints School is our featured article in the monthly publication by the Dearborn Board of Education, School Life.  It is generously sponsored by Lisa Phelps of Gentle Pet Protectors.  School Life is mailed to every home in Dearborn.  Our article will feature an adoptable animal, Pet Tips, student volunteer opportunities, ways the schools can get involved, featured merchandise, etc.  Click here to read the most current version of our article in School Life.
