The Dearborn Animal Shelter is competing in the 2013 ASPCA/Rachael Ray $100K Challenge.
Taking place June 1st thru August 31st, our goal is to place 779 adoptable animals in homes. That is more than 300 animals over last year in the same time period.
An industrious goal, but we can make it with your help.
How can you be a part?
- Encourage people you know to Adopt from our Shelter.
- Like our Facebook page and Share our posts.
- Volunteer.
- Pick up an “Adopt Today” lawn sign from the shelter to display during the Challenge months of June through August.
- Join us for our many events during this timeframe, but especially for 3 key adoption offsites. See details on the right.
Share your adoption photos
If you adopt from our Shelter from June 1st – July 15th, campaign, please share photos of your pet in the ASPCA Pet Photo contest, and we could both win. Submit to Photo Contest.

- Saturday, July 13th – “On the Hill” in Allen Park, in front of Best Buy
