After she arrived at the shelter, I knew it was love at first sight! She has been absolutely wonderful and I can’t believe I was so lucky to find this amazing new best friend. Evey loves food and is willing to show off her dance moves for a treat. She gets along with all the cats and loves to cuddle. Evey absolutely loves people and greets everyone with loads of kisses. In fact, when it came to convincing my fiance, that’s all it took. One kiss and he melted.

I’m a big fan of big dogs, but because I live in a town house, it just wouldn’t be fair to cram in a large breed dog. This is where Evey comes in. She is a Pom mix and, although she is only 12 lbs, she thinks she is a 200lb. Mastiff. Evey holds her own against her cousins, both Great Danes, and lets them know whose boss.

Evey is currently relaxing on the couch after prancing and hopping around in the foot-deep snow.
