On July 7th 2012 my girlfriend and I went to the animal shelter and got an orange tabby cat.  The shelter told us he is 3 so I am making his birthday the day that we got him.  We brought him home and he scoped out his new home.  Garfield has his own bed and a house that are kitty city products. I have in middle of them his toy box with cat toys.  He is a lovely playful cat that loves yarn and a toy mouse attached to string of yarn along with a laser pointer.  Toys we have for Garfield at moment would be yarn, 3 mouse toys we got from shelter, 2 foil balls that me and my girl friend made for him and he seems to love hair ties also and loose pant legs…
He loves attention and gets a lot of it from me and Amy.  I feed him when I get up and give him fresh refrigerated water.  At night he gets hyper and chases his imaginary prey or it chases him from the couch to the love seat as he runs along the back of them.  He loves sitting in windows in our bed room or in living room windows.  He usually attacks your feet or tries to catch your leg with his paws.  My girlfriend and I gave Garfield a box to play with and he really enjoys playing in it and using it as a scratching post.  We are also getting him a 3 level cat tower so he can have access to our living room window.  He has such a cute face.  When feeding him in the mornings and giving him water, he like to head butt my hand; plus he enjoys sitting in whatever chair me or my girl friend were sitting in.  My girlfriend has made him some homemade cat toys to play with.  Garfield is also a very happy, friendly, loving cat that loves to sleep in our bed. We are very happy with Garfield and we are happy we adopted him.
