I was looking for a kitten when I came to the shelter because I didn’t know how an older cat would get along with a 2 year old pomerainan.
She was so lovely, a long haired calico, she was older but it didn’t seem to matter, I picked her up and she was like jello in my lap, I asked her “What are you doing here beautiful?” She put her paw over my mouth and purred at me.
I came back 2 days later and took her home. She is seven years old now, we have had her for a year, she loves our dog Georgie so much that they clean each others faces daily. My beautiful Gracie Madeline rescued me.. and I think she is pretty happy in her new home.
