When I first entered the shelter I saw a few cats that I was interested in.  It was a no go with my two small children as the cats were scared of them.  Then we saw Barney, a 5-year-old all-white cat. I just remembered saying to my self what a gorgeous cat. He was everything I expected in a cat; cool, kinda laid back kind,a cat with good cat manners (no scratching or biting). From the very second I walked in to meet a few cats that were for adoption, Barney rubbed against my children and was so happy and loving. Almost immediately it was love at first sight.  I loved him and my children loved him but most important he loved us.  After all he chose us. When I adopted him and brought him home he was a little nervous with the new surroundings and the noise (tv ,kids playing,etc.); but he quickly felt comfortable with us and settled in his new home. I am truly glad Barney “Jinxie” found us because he is so good.  I couldnt ask for a better cat.  He is perfect in every way.
