On an average day, 182 dogs and cats are nurtured at our shelter with another 103 in foster care. In addition, your contribution helps thousands of other rescues through our community outreach programs all across Southeast Michigan.
FFDAS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Your generous donations are 100% tax deductible.
Here’s how your gift helps the animals:
- $1,000.00 Buys microchips for 200 shelter cats and dogs so they need never be lost again
- $500.00 Treats a small dog for heartworm disease or a cat in pain for dentistry
- $250.00 Helps pay for medical costs for an injured stray cat or dog
- $100.00 Spays one cat or neuters one dog
- $50.00 Buys food for all shelter dogs for one week
- $40.00 Provides cat litter for all shelter cats for one week
- $25.00 Vaccinates one dog or cat
- $10.00 Provides special formula for an orphan kitten or puppy for 6 days
