Bucks for Boot Camp
Despite the best efforts of our staff and volunteers, the shelter can be a stressful place for dogs. That’s where Boot Camp comes in, a 30-day program for dogs who need structured training, more socialization, or time out from the shelter. The ultimate goal of Boot Camp is to help these dogs in need prepare to go to a forever home.
Cat Community Center
Shelters are very harsh environments and one of our goals is to make the lives of the animals we care for as happy and stress-free as possible. This makes them not only more comfortable, but also more adoptable. That is why the Cat Community Center (Triple C) was created. Up to 15 cats live cage-free in each of 4 Triple C’s.
Hope’s Heroes
Hope’s Heroes provide for dogs, cats, and other animals who come to our shelter with very special needs. Your Hope’s Hero gift covers the extra care and medical expenses for these animals—including comprehensive medical tests, surgery, medication, and rehabilitation.
