The Friends offer two free monthly education sessions for owners or prospective owners:

Doggie 101

This is a FREE class for all dog or puppy owners or prospective owners. It covers the basics of canine care:  feeding, grooming, socialization, play, veterinary needs and how to recognize illness, how to properly introduce a new canine family member, and much more. You do not bring your dog—just you!

Offered the 1st Thursday of every month, from 6 :00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

The following topics will be covered in upcoming classes:

• February 2 – Why does my dog…chew?
• March 1 – Why does my dog…bite me?

Although the class is FREE, we do ask that you register so that we can properly prepare.

Kitty 101

This is a FREE class for all cat or kitten owners or prospective owners. It covers the basics of cat care: feeding, grooming, socialization, play, veterinary needs and how to recognize illness, how to properly introduce a new feline family member, and much more. You do not bring your cat—just you!

Offered the 3rd Thursday of every month, from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

• March 15 – Why does my cat…play to rough?
