Trick-or-Treat for Animals

Many thanks to those who participated in our 8th Annual Trick-or-Treat for animals known as Beggin’ for Bones.  Proceeds benefit the more than 2,300 homeless animals who come into the Dearborn Animal Shelter each year and 10% of all collections are donated to the Dearborn Education Foundation.

How we did

• 165 canisters were out and about.
• $1070 raised

2011 Golden Bone Winner

• Haigh Elementary
• 90 fifth graders raised $440
• This is the first year that an elementary school has taken home the award, and we send woofs of thanks to these in-kind kids and their organizing teacher Paula Nantaub.
