Molly & Monty

On a recent trip to the shelter to feed the dogs, I saw Molly, a female black and white spaniel mix. When the shelter rep took her out for me, she nuzzled the sable-red colored dog (Duck Tolling Retriever) in the pen next to hers. The shelter rep said they came in together after their owner passed away in February. Molly jumped into my lap and the application and adoption fee became the next morning’s priority. When I returned to the shelter, I asked to see both dogs interact together. They fought over my lap; how could I not take both?!! I now have two beautiful, kind-souled dogs! They love the Wayne County dog park and all the scents Hines Drive has to offer.
